Not the exam questions

The practice questions on this site are written by us. The real questions are prepared by each prefecture's Public Safety Commission and are not published. Practicing here improves your understanding of the rules; it does not give you the exam.

Accuracy and dates

Every figure on this site carries the date we checked it and a link to the source. Rules, fees and procedures change, and they differ between prefectures. Before you spend money or travel to an appointment, confirm the details with the license center that serves your registered address. Where our figure comes from press reporting rather than a government page, we say so on the page.

Limitation

We take care with what we publish, but we cannot accept liability for loss arising from decisions made on the basis of this site, including a failed application, a wasted appointment or a fee paid. Use the official pages as your authority.

Corrections

If you find something out of date or wrong, please tell us at info@obriginy.co.jp. Corrections are made with a fresh check against the source.
